Dr. Coscia earned his medical degree in his hometown at the University of Tennessee, where he gained valuable experience working as a suture tech in the trauma department. There, he provided high-quality care to trauma patients, using his technical skills and aesthetic eye to correct severe facial injuries. The meticulous attention to detail and compassionate bedside manner required to deliver excellent care and results for these patients gave Dr. Coscia a unique medical perspective and fueled his interest in plastic surgery.

Dr. Coscia completed his surgical training at the University of California under Dr. Thomas Stevenson, a respected authority in the field of plastic surgery, before serving as a fellow for The Plastic Surgery Center. His work at the center drew the attention of several senior surgeons, and he quickly gained their respect as a skilled practitioner. He was asked to join The Plastic Surgery Center shortly thereafter, where he has proudly served patients in the Sacramento area since 2012, performing procedures such as facelifts, rhinoplasties, and breast lifts.

Dr. Coscia is now excited to serve the men and women in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He welcomes Idahoans to his satellite office at North Idaho Dermatology, where he will be able to expand his exceptional services to a wider range of patients. North Idaho Dermatology provides a full complement of transformative medical and cosmetic procedures, and Dr. Coscia adds to the center’s longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality care.

He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, indicating his expertise as well as his strict adherence to the highest safety and ethical standards. Dr. Coscia belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He is the author of several works that have appeared in the Annals of Plastic Surgery and has presented his research to many audiences, including those at the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society.
